Camp Knickerbocker (or, more commonly known as “Camp K”) sits on a freshwater lake in Boothbay, Maine. With access to the water in three different locations, we spend lots of time at the waterfront! Our traditional day camp is split into two categories: Explorers: This group is our campers ages 5/6 years old. With ratios kept low, this group travels as one pod with staff. They try all that camp has to offer (that is safe for them!) such as swimming, hiking, nature exploration, sports, tennis, crafts, gardening, nutrition, dance exercise, and more! YMCA Camp of Maine

The YMCA Camp of Maine is an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 7-16 which offers camper-elected programs in Aquatics, Creative Arts, Sports and Outdoor Living Skills. The emphasis on cabin life, friendship, special events and weekend programs builds a lasting community. Small groups and cabins have counselors as positive role models. The counselor to camper ratio is one to four. Explorers Camp is an opportunity to try overnight camp for boys and girls aged 7 to 9. Spend four days and three nights exploring camp.
