    CELEBRATING 111 SUMMERS OF COMMUNITY. Our resident “in-camp” program choices include LIFETIME SPORTS (tennis, sailing, riding, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and sports); FINE ARTS (drama, dance, gymnastics, art, library, and singing); WILDERNESS EXPERIENCES (outdoor exploration, community service, climbing wall, high & low cable challenges, canoe and hiking trips to lakes, mountains). We also offer GLOBAL CHALLENGES – CO-ED; 7-week hiking trip on the Appalachian Trail, 7-week trip to Nova Scotia, and a 5-week experience to the European Alps. These trips are for campers completing 8th, 9th, or 10th grade. Loyal teaching staff (ratio 1:3) inspires continuity, tradition and spirit. Alford Lake Camp is a place of sensitivity, challenge, respect, appreciation, warmth, and citizenship.
