UMaine 4-H Camp at Tanglewood

  • Day Camp, Overnight Camp
  • Co-ed
  • 1 Week, 2 Weeks

UMaine’s 4-H Camp at Tanglewood along the Ducktrap River in Lincolnville offers youth the opportunity to build skills in science and arts education through hands-on discovery while having fun with friends. Overnight campers shape their experience and gain independence through activity choices (STEM, archery, gardening, watershed and marine ecology, creative arts, drama, wilderness adventures, and outdoor skills), eating delicious home-cooked meals, and in “wicked” evening programs. Day camps nurture a child’s sense of wonder and are developed for younger campers, with nature exploration and creative play. Teen Leadership builds community-minded young adults through teamwork, problem-solving, and stewardship while applying skills on backpacking and canoeing wilderness trips.

Tanglewood: teaching and inspiring youth to be caring citizens of the Earth.
