Friends Camp – Quaker
Friends Camp is a caring and accepting community that offers campers a range of creative activities and lots of wacky fun. The Quaker values of equality, integrity, peace, simplicity, sustainability, and community are the foundation of Friends Camp. Campers choose from elective programs that include: games, sailing, art, sports, canoeing, kayaking, music, photography, ceramics, hiking, and a wide variety of creative and unique activities. Ours is a non-competitive environment. Campers develop a strong sense of belonging to an intentional community through group discussions, consensus-building, and community jobs. Our 4 sessions are divided by age, with sessions for elementary, middle, and high school aged campers. Friends Camp welcomes youth from all races, religious affiliations, national origins, genders, and sexual orientations.
