Camp Wigwam, founded in 1910, is located in southwestern Maine in the foothills of the White Mountains. The entire property is cradled in a majestic pine grove on the natural white sand beach of Bear Lake. Each camper is encouraged to participate in tennis, golf, and our waterfront activities. Golf lessons are offered daily, with trips to one of four local courses five days a week. Waterfront classes include swimming, sailing, canoeing, fishing, and a top-rated waterskiing program. Wigwam offers a very personalized atmosphere. Our low key approach allows each camper the ability to concentrate on specific activities of his own choosing including competitive sports, hiking, drama, rock climbing, woodworking, ceramics, music and crafts. Tutoring is available.
