Camp Sunshine
Camp Sunshine is a year-round retreat, which provides respite, support, joy and hope to children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families through various stages of a child’s illness. The program is free of charge to all families, and includes 24-hour onsite medical support. Bereavement sessions are also offered for families who have experienced the death of a child from a supported illness.
At Camp Sunshine families have a chance to have fun together and to meet other families facing similar challenges. Camp Sunshine offers a variety of activities and programs, including parent group workshops, games, swimming, boating, arts & crafts, climbing wall, fishing, mini-golf, camping out, a computer learning center, challenge course, entertainment and much, much more.
