Camp Micah is a co-ed, Jewish, overnight camp built in 2001 and located in Bridgton, Maine, on magnificently secluded Peabody Pond. The camp offers a full range of camp activities including team sports (baseball, basketball, soccer, Hockey, etc.), individual sports (tennis, archery, gymnastics, fencing, etc.), skate park, Ninja Warrior course, swimming in our heated pool, arts (arts & crafts, music, theatre, dance, photography, etc.), waterfront (waterskiing, kayaking, paddleboarding canoeing, sailing, etc.), ropes course, aqua zip line, wilderness & hiking, and much more. Each college-aged staff member is hired to live in a bunk with campers and teach a particular activity. We are committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and challenging environment infused with Jewish traditions and values that promote the building of self-esteem, social relationships, resilience, and skill development. All Micah campers and staff embody our philosophy: the most important thing is to be a fair and honest person, compassionate to and accepting of others while being who you are and challenging yourself to grow.
