Camp Berwick/Berwick Boys Foundation
The Berwick Boys Foundation helps teenage boys develop physically, mentally and morally through experiences in living and working with peers. Campers attend the summer-long camp on a 750-acre island in Maine. The unique program emphasizes hands-on leadership training and problem-solving experiences as the boys work on projects that challenge boys to learn valuable skills in outdoor living, forestry, carpentry, seamanship, mechanics, cooking, first aid, and construction.
Camp experience is divided into: community projects that benefit everyone, individual/small projects, and recreation which includes various water sports, land sports and other activities. Boys generally begin at age 12-15, and may continue in leadership roles through college. Scholarships available. A year-round program.
