Wild Maine Med delivers immersive, scenario-rich, first aid and wilderness medicine trainings crafted for the realities of summer camp life. Offering certifications through the American Red Cross and SOLO Wilderness Medicine, our courses blend hands-on, interactive learning with customized camp-specific scenarios that prepare staff for the situations they’re most likely to face– building confidence, competence, and a stronger, safer team culture from day one.

We’re on a mission to redefine what First Aid training looks like. Instead of lecture-heavy classes, our courses are interactive, skill-based, and built around realistic scenarios. Participants don’t just listen and memorize– they do. They problem-solve, practice under pressure, and leave with the confidence to respond when it matters most.

Every course is fully customized– from crafting scenarios based on your camp’s incident reports to offering expert guidance on developing emergency action plans and stocking first aid kits.

Wilderness First Aid (WFA), Advanced WFA (AWFA), and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) through SOLO Wilderness Medicine
