For generations, families have made Bethel Outdoor Adventure & Campground their home base for summer fun on the Androscoggin River. We’re a family-run outfitter, and that shows in everything we do — from how easy it is to book a trip, to how well we take care of every guest who pulls into our driveway.

We keep things simple. Grab a kayak, canoe, or tube and head out at your own pace — no guide required, just an easy put-in, a beautiful stretch of water, and a relaxed take-out when you’re done. We’re equipped to accommodate large groups on the river. Not into river activities? Kids love digging through our sluice for Maine gems and minerals at our rock hounding station.

We also offer group tenting sites for camps looking to stay overnight in the heart of the Bethel/Sunday River area.
