Camp Chewonki offers three programs: Camp for Boys, Adventures for Girls and Wilderness Trips for
Teens. Camp for Boys (ages 8 – 15) is a traditional residential summer camp on the Maine Coast.
Adventures for Girls (ages 8 – 16) is a traveling wilderness program, as is our Wilderness Trips for Teens
(ages 14 – 18). All programs promote personal growth, strong friendships and teamwork with the help of caring leaders. Chewonki specializes in fostering a stewardship ethic and appreciation for the natural world through unplugging from electronics and spending immersive time outdoors. Every group embarks on some form of camping overnight or wilderness trip either to coastal waterfront campsites or to inland lakes, rivers and mountains.
