    Founded in 1919, Camp Agawam is a traditional, 7-week residential camp for boys located in a beautiful setting on Crescent Lake, 30 miles from Portland.  Camp Agawam’s program is structured to prioritize youth and character development.  Agawam offers a  wide variety of traditional camp activities including archery, arts and  crafts, baseball, canoeing, wilderness tripping, kayaking, dramatics, lacrosse, nature study, riflery, high and low ropes, sailing, windsurfing, soccer, swimming, snorkeling, tennis, photography and woodshop.   Staff are highly competent and well trained with an emphasis on both mentoring boys and activity instruction.  Agawam enjoys a high return rate among campers and staff and a loyal alumni base.
