This Directory lists organized children's camps in the
State of Maine who are Members of the Maine Youth Camping Association. The
Letters "ACA" following a camp name mean that it has been Accredited by the
American Camping Association.
Most camps have been licensed by the Maine Department of
Human Services, Division of Health Engineering. This Division approves
site and water supply and inspects each camp to be sure that substantial
health and safety regulations are being met.
The Directory contains listings of camps which have
provided detailed information concerning location, size, program, etc.,
they are divided into Resident Camps for Boys, Girls, and Coeducational.
Under the camp name is the camp's summer address. Director(s) name
is followed by their off-season address. Please contact camps
directly for all additional information.
