Wavus Camp for girls is located on two miles of pristine lake frontage on Damariscotta Lake, by boat just four miles north of our boys camp, Kieve, and 65 miles northeast of Portland, Maine near the coast. Wavus offers a traditional, non-competitive, diverse in-camp program with activities such as tennis, riflery, sailing, team sports, arts & crafts, pottery, environmental discovery, an excellent ropes course, and trips to our beautiful oceanfront property in Bremen. All girls participate in our progressive wilderness-tripping program designed to inspire and challenge campers through beauty and teamwork. Trips take place throughout New England and range in length from two days to 18 days. At Wavus we explore, challenge, learn and enjoy!
