Fernwood Cove provides campers with a complete traditional camp experience in a half-season session. Fernwood Cove, set among rolling meadows, streams, and woods, provides a full range of camp and waterfront activities and excellent facilities. Campers select weekly “focus activities” for specialized instruction, and a daily “free choice” activity for extra instruction, or to try something new. Some activities: aerobics, archery, arts/crafts, ceramics, crew, culinary arts, dance, English riding, fabric arts, kayaking, mountain biking, nature, painting, photography, rock-climbing, sailing, silversmithing, swimming, team sports, tennis, theater arts, water-skiing, and wakeboarding. There are camp trips, overnights, intercamp sports, and creative evening programs. Each summer our campers and caring staff create a diverse and supportive community in which each girl may reach her individual potential and develop lifelong friendships.
