Resident - Private.Students work on a transect of Wonderland in Acadia National Park

   The Acadia Institute of Oceanography offers a hands-on, field program that allows students age 10-18 a comprehensive introduction to the science of
oceanography. Founded in 1975 and located in Seal Harbor, Maine, over 200 students from around the country and the world spend two weeks on the coast of Maine exploring the physical, chemical and biological aspects of marine
science. At the heart of the program is an experienced and qualified group of
educators trained in the field of oceanography.
